Julia von Jenisch

The Chair founded the Förderkreis Deichtorhallen (Patrons of the Deichtorhallen) together with her fellow board members in 2011. Julia von Jenisch studied Journalism at university and went on to work for a number of publishing houses in Hamburg. In early 2000 she discovered her great interest in contemporary art. Since the group was founded, she has been passionately involved in the Deichtorhallen. Supporting the institution is a matter close to her heart.

Marie-Hélène Helms

Marie-Hélène Helms studied Business Administration in Vienna and Berlin and Culture & Media Management at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. She subsequently worked in the field of exhibition management and public relations for a symphony orchestra and a private hotel in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania which is one of the main venues for the MV Festival. She is heavily involved in the Förderkreis Deichtorhallen.
